Increasing dividend income and overall passive income is great, but if there aren’t any financial goals or personal goals it feels kind of aimless. So, I am stating some goals for 2023 here that will be tracked to see my progress as each month goes by. My major personal and financial goals revolve around my followers on Seeking Alpha, my projected forward dividend income, and the monthly average total passive income from all of my sources.
For 2023, I have set the following goals for the end of the year:
- 1,000 followers on Seeking Alpha
- $6,500 in projected forward dividend income
- $600 monthly average for 2023 in total passive income (dividends received, Seeking Alpha income, and blog income)
Current progress at the end of February:
- Seeking Alpha Followers: 569 (569/1000 = 56.9% of year end goal)
- Projected Forward Dividend Income: $5,733 (5,733/6500 = 88.2% of year end goal)
- Total Passive Income Monthly Average: $1,150.59/2 = $575.30 per month (575.30/600 = 95.9% of year end goal)
