Passive Income Report (February 2023)

Although this blog was started in March 2023, for the sake of transparency I have put together my passive income report for the month of February. Included in the report is a breakdown of income I generated from each of my current sources. Currently, my passive income is generated from just two different sources (Dividends Received and Seeking Alpha Contributor Income). An exciting element of this fact is that I hope to see an expansion in my number of passive income sources as I grow this blog.

I hope readers find the Seeking Alpha information interesting that I have presented here. I noticed that it is hard to get some solid examples of income that is being generated by SA Contributors, hopefully this will shed some light on this topic.

Total February 2023 Passive Income: $520.05

• Dividends Received: $244.23

• Seeking Alpha Contributor Income: $275.82

I would like to note that this was actually my highest earning month ever as a Contributor and I had submitted several articles to reach those earnings. However, the income received from writing 3 articles and a following of under 600 users is nothing to scoff at. I’ve certainly been improving the quality of my articles and learning how to expand my reach, but it’s nice to see this effort quantified regardless.

I’m happy to see that my total passive income is over $500 for the month as it puts me in a good place to meet my year-end goals. Even more comforting is the fact that all of my dividends received are automatically reinvested and are now producing even more future income.

The upcoming passive dividend income report in March will likely look a little different. I am anticipating a large amount of dividend income but lower income from my SA articles as I wrote less this month. For the future, I am excited about the opportunity to add display ad income and affiliate marketing income to my passive income sources. To get to that point though, I am continuing to focus on increasing my blog website traffic and producing quality content before attempting to activate those two income streams.
